Every Mini Cooper Should Sound This Good

This Austin Mini with an Arden 8-Port engine sings one incredible song

When Mini redesigned the new Mini Cooper, its size grew pretty significantly over the previous version. But in relation to the rest of the cars on the road these days, Minis are still pretty small. They’re also pretty fun to drive, and actually sound pretty good (at least in John Cooper Works form).

But compared to the original Mini, even the smallest car it sells today looks like a giant. And listening to this Austin Mini Cooper S with an Arden 8-port fuel injected engine, suddenly the JCW Mini doesn’t sound so good, either.

Actually, compared to this little Mini, most other cars sound downright bad. Because this thing sounds incredible.

Why don’t more cars sound this great?
